CityUHK users now have an additional off-campus access option for Elsevier products.

To access platforms such as ScienceDirect, Scopus, and SciVal from outside the campus, users should select "Sign in via your organization." Then, search for "City University of Hong Kong" and authenticate using your CityUHK credentials.

  1. Go to ScienceDirect (https://www.sciencedirect.com).
  2. Click on Sign in.
  3. In the Find your organization search box, type City University of Hong Kong.
  4. Select City University of Hong Kong from the search results.
  5. You will be redirected to the CityUHK login page. Sign in using your:
    • CityUHK EID
    • Password
    • Multi-factor authentication (if prompted)
  6. After successful authentication, you will be returned to ScienceDirect with access to CityUHK-subscribed content.
